ThermAvant Joins the Energy-Smart Electronic Systems Consortium

ThermAvant is proud to announce its membership in the Energy-Smart Electronic Systems (ES2) consortium, hosted by Villanova University. ES2 brings together industry leaders, academic researchers, and government agencies to drive advancements in energy-efficient electronics and thermal management technologies.

ThermAvant's Director of Research and Development, Dr. Corey Wilson, attended the consortium’s latest event, where members discussed collaborative research initiatives and the future of energy-smart system design.

"ThermAvant Technologies is excited to join the Center for Energy-Smart Electronic Systems (ES2), the leading research center for energy efficient thermal management of electronic systems, specifically within data centers. For the past 15 years, ThermAvant Technologies has developed leading edge oscillating heat pipe (OHP) solutions for power-dense, temperature-sensitive and size constrained environments, primarily for the aerospace & defense industry and US government agencies. By joining ES2, ThermAvant Tech will more closely focus its OHP technology on addressing the needs of data centers' electronic systems, and do so in collaboration with university partners" says Dr. Corey Wilson, Director of R&D at ThermAvant Technologies.

As a member of ES2, ThermAvant looks forward to contributing its expertise in Oscillating Heat Pipes (OHPs) and next-generation thermal solutions to support energy-smart innovation across industries.

About ES2

The Center for Energy-Smart Electronic Systems (ES2) is a National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) established to develop methodologies, tools and systems that will maximize energy efficiency for the operation of electronic systems, including data centers, "from the chip to the cooling tower."
