      <image:caption>Joe Boswell Co-Founder &amp; CEO Joe Boswell, co-founder and CEO, is an experienced engineer and entrepreneur who leads ThermAvant’s financial and business development efforts and contributes to technology, product, and process development. At ThermAvant, Joe has raised more than $20 million of external R&amp;D funding and more than $5 million of private equity plus debt investment. He has authored or co-authored approximately a dozen journal publications; been the principal investigator on nine R&amp;D contracts since 2009; and is the named inventor on more than a half-dozen patents. Previously, he was the founding CFO of InsideTrack, Inc., where he helped build the company from five employees to over 160 and raised its first two rounds of institutional financing. Before that, he was a merger and acquisitions banker at JPMorgan (Hambrecht &amp; Quist). Joe graduated from The University of Pennsylvania’s management and technology program with degrees from the Wharton School of Business and School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Independent Stave Company.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Bill Ma Co-Founder &amp; President Dr. Bill Ma, co-founder and president, oversees the company's long-term development including the company’s R&amp;D efforts to continuously develop innovative, highly efficient cooling technologies. Dr. Ma is a full-time professor in the Department of Mechanical &amp; Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri (MU). He is also the director of the Center of Thermal Management in MU’s College of Engineering. His research at MU has been supported by the Department of Energy, NSF,  NIH, Intel, Dell, Foxconn,  DARPA, Northrop, ONR, ORNL, Gore-Tex, the Department of Education, and MU, totaling over $8.2 million dollars. His research work has resulted in a number of granted and patent-pending technologies. He has more than 260 publications, including one oscillating heat pipe book, five book chapters, and 162 refereed journal papers. He is a founder of MU ISoTherM (Innovative Solution of Thermal Management) Consortium with members of Intel, Foxconn, and others, which made significant contributions to heat pipe applications in computer cooling. He is also associate editor of the ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications, ASME Journal of Heat Transfer, Heat Transfer Research, and Frontiers in Heat Pipes. He is an ASME fellow and the technical program chair of the 6th ASME International Conference of MNHMT2019.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Bruce Drolen  Advisory Board Chair Dr. Bruce Drolen is a retired Boeing Senior Technical Fellow (STF) from Boeing Network and Space Systems in El Segundo, Calif. Being recognized as a Boeing senior technical fellow is the highest technical achievement possible in The Boeing Company, with only about 0.1% of the engineering workforce counted as STFs. In his 37.5 years of thermal management experience, he has developed and/or modeled the radiative and thermophysical properties of real engineering materials, heat pipes, loop heat pipes, oscillating heat pipes, pumped fluid loops, and other heat transport devices under both typical and non-ideal operating conditions. A significant professional accomplishment has been the application of loop heat pipes (LHPs) to our high-power family of spacecraft to allow its heat rejection capability to increase three-fold through the use of LHP-fed deployable radiators. Boeing now has 335 LHPs and 108 deployable radiators on-orbit in operational systems on 36 different spacecraft.   Dr. Drolen has more than 60 technical journal and conference papers, seven patents and numerous patent applications in process. Outside of Boeing, he is an active member of AIAA, having served on the Thermophysics Technical Committee for several terms, including as TC Chair. He was the 2017 AIAA Thermophysics Award recipient, he has served as an associate editor of the ASME Journal of Heat Transfer, and he is currently serving as associate editor of the AIAA Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>George Fleischman Advisory Board Member George received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Cornell University.  He worked nearly 7 years for TRW (now part of Northrop Grumman) on heat pipe technology for cooling electronics, spacecraft thermal control, and stabilizing the pilings for the Alaskan pipeline.  He worked at Hughes Aircraft (now part of Boeing) 24 years on heat pipes for satellite thermal control. While at Hughes George was the principal investigator or co-investigator for a total of four 0-g experiments flown on the space shuttle. He is the principal author or co-author of nineteen technical papers on heat pipe technology, and co-inventor of five patents. He received a certificate of recognition from NASA for the creative development of technology in 1978. George retired in 2010 after working 10 years for Raytheon in El Segundo, California.</image:caption>
